Hello, my name is Maria — I'm so glad you're here.
I'm a certified Somatic Breathwork Facilitator and the founder of Mind Body Breath Healing. This space was created to support your journey back to yourself — to help you slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with the wisdom already within you.
After years working in high-pressure environments — from corporate sales to the fast-paced world of hospitality — I experienced firsthand how stress, burnout, and constant anxiety can disconnect us from our bodies and our peace. While I thrived on connection and drive, I always felt pulled toward something more meaningful.
That calling led me to breathwork, somatic practices, and the healing power of presence.
My goal — and soul’s purpose — is to share the work that transformed my life, in the hope that it supports those who are ready to find themselves again. Without the labels. Without the ego. Without the noise and worry of the world getting in the way. Just you, as you are, coming home to the truth of who you've always been.
Today, I guide others through transformative experiences that combine rhythmic breathing, sound and brainwave therapy, somatics, heart coherence, gentle movement, and meditation. These practices help quiet the thinking mind (the default mode network — or ego mind), allowing the body to soften and the nervous system to reset. It’s about creating space to feel, release, and return to a grounded, peaceful state — a breath of fresh air in every sense.
This work is deeply personal, intuitive and grounded in both science and ancient wisdom. It’s not about fixing — it’s about Remembering. Reclaiming. Realigning.

As infants, we breathe deeply and naturally with our diaphragm. Over time, stress and environmental factors shift our breathing patterns to shallow chest breathing — a survival response that, if left unchecked, can lead to chronic stress, anxiety, fatigue, and immune suppression.
Stress causes shallow breathing — and shallow breathing, in turn, triggers stress. This loop can contribute to a wide range of health issues, including adrenal fatigue, poor cognitive function, low energy, and cellular aging.
By practicing diaphragmatic breathing — often guided through Soma Breath techniques and inspired by practices like Yoga and Pranayama — we can regulate the nervous system, improve heart rate variability, and promote both mental and physical wellbeing.
